The Final Two...

Kara and our 2014-2015 Drill President, Melissa are our final two. Thank you for following our blog and to keep up with the current team please go to wjhsjagline.wix.com/wjdrill and visit our public fan page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/WestJordanJagline.

Melissa has been on the Drill team since 2013 and has improved so much it's unbelievable! She's a leader,
kind hearted and one of the best captain's we've had. We love you Melissa and are so grateful for all the time
and sacrifice you've made for us! She's not sure what she'll do after high school but she said she just wants to
enjoy her life and adventure for a little while. Good luck in everything you do gorgeous, we love you!

Last but not least, is Kara! She's a beautiful dancer and has been a critical member of our team! She brings laughter and joy to every practice! She joined the team in 2014 and sadly has only been with us one year before she graduates. Kara has the biggest plans out of all of us... She is moving to Tennessee with her Father in the fall! She is also thinking of college and joining the Navy! You're amazing Kara, we love you!

Holly & Karen

The two shortest girls on the team 👯
1. Holly joined the team in 2013 and has stayed with us ever since! We love her so much and are amazed at the progress she's made while on the team! She is currently working as a cashier at Reams and she is a volunteer at the SLC aquarium! Holly will be attending DSU in the fall majoring in biology and keeping her passion for dance in her life by minoring in dance. We wish you luck in following your dreams and we love you!
2. Karen is probably the most improved senior on the team! She joined in 2014 with barely any experience and now she has her splits flat, a consistent strong double pirouette and so much more! That wasn't without hard work and we recognize and appreciate that! On top of all her work for drill she's also been on LIA and many other clubs and she's gotten her CNA this year! Wow, isn't she amazing? After graduation she plans on attending SLCC and still making great strides in LIA. We wish you luck and are so proud of you we love you karen!

Sascha & Naomi

This week are introducing Sascha and Naomi.
1.Sascha joined in 2014 with very little experience and she has grown so much in just one year. She just started her new job at home depot. This summer she will be going to D.C. for a convention for future medical students. In the fall she will be attending SLCC majoring in biology, then she'll be headed off medical school. We are proud of all of your accomplishments Sascha and wish you luck with all your goals! We love you ❤️
2. Next up is Naomi! She joined the team in 2013 and has stayed with us for 2 years. Naomi has become an incredible dancer and the team's unofficial "personal trainer". Her willingness to push her self past her limits and constant happiness inspires every girl on the team! Right now Naomi is keeping her grades high and working two jobs at Forever Young Shoes and Carmike Theaters. She's not sure what she'll do after graduation but she's seriously considering moving to Texas with her sister for a year and then attending college after that. We wish you luck in all your adventures, we'll love and miss you!

Aubs and Mia

SNEEK PEAK of the senior pictures of our two first girls: Aubs and Mia.
1. Aubs first joined the drill team in 2013 and she's been on it ever since. Aubs had been an amazing teammate and friend she's grown as a dancer and a person over these past two years and we'll miss her. Right now Aubs is working towards becoming a CNA before she graduates high school! She works at Popeye's and Legacy House which is an assisted living facility. After she graduates she will be attending the University of Utah working on finishing her prerequisites for Nursing school. She plans on moving out of her parents house after school but she's not sure when. We wish you luck in everything Aubs we love you! ❤️
2. Mia also joined the drill team in 2013 and she's stayed with the team until now. She's gained friends, confidence and improved her dancing technique tremendously. Mia is also working towards becoming a CNA before she graduates. She works at Forever Young Shoes as an assistant manager and loves every second of it! She plans on attending Snow College in the fall working on finishing her associates degree in two semesters. We love you Mia and we will miss you, good luck in everything you do ❤️

What to Expect...

Class of 2015... Wow that's weird to say. We graduate in 23 days, are you ready for the real world? Paying for college, a car, a phone, etc? Some of our Seniors have big plans in the works and others change their plans every two minutes. This blog will be a publication of what our graduating Seniors have in mind for plans after high school and much more. We will display two girls every week with a little biography and get to know you section, by the end of 4 posts you will know 8 wonderful girls and their plans and they will be graduated and off to put those plans into action. We're doing this not to only congratulate our girls who have worked so hard to be where they are, but also to make them accountable. As senioritis is creeping in it's becoming harder to work towards our goals, so for a little motivation we're posting it here, because what's worse than the embarrassment of telling the whole world you're going to do something and you don't follow through?
